Rashad Morgan

Rashad Morgan was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was born visually impaired and attended the South Carolina School for the Blind. He discovered his passion for improving the lives of people with disabilities during college where he volunteered with various non-profit organizations serving students and adults with disabilities. He went on to earn his Bachelors in Psychology from the University of South Carolina Upstate, Masters in Higher Education and Masters in Social Work both from Florida State University. His previous roles have included College & Transition Specialist for the Florida Department of Education, Assistant Director of Disability Services at Georgia Tech and Director of Accessible Education at Agnes Scott College for the past six years. A few fun facts about Rashad are he is a First Generation College Student, he has been married for 11 years to his wonderful wife Avita Morgan and they have two children ages seven and eight.
